Overview

Thamesgate Furniture is an educational furniture supplier with an enviable reputation for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of school furniture supplies to UK-based nurseries, schools, colleges, libraries, institutes and universities.

Objective:

Boost brand awareness, drive traffic to the site, increase foot traffic in the stores, promote philanthropic efforts and encourage communication with customers through social spaces.

Achievements / Results

Since we began working with Ashley, year-over-year site traffic grew from 20% to 134%. Our social efforts grew Ashley’s facebook fan count by 1,120% within nine days. Our SEM and display campaigns had a combined 66% improvement in CPA. Our SEO efforts were also a success, resulting in a 196% increase in visibility for local search terms and driving an initial increase of 59% in store locator visits, which correlates to in-store traffic.

Work Challenge

Client Furniture Home Store has grown to become the world’s number one selling furniture brand in a highly promotional and competitive retail furniture market. The company doesn’t have online commerce due to its licensing structure. However, they know they must leverage the digital space to continue to drive success and build connections with customers. We help them be useful, usable, visible and engaging through an integrated digital program that includes search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), creative development, display advertising and social media with strategy integrated throughout.

 

EBriks Strategy / Approach

 
To engage with customers and build affinity for the brand, we developed an integrated marketing program that lets us support both evergreen messages and promotional campaigns across digital channels. We continually help drive brand visibility and maximize campaign effectiveness by coordinating all of our display, social media, SEO and SEM efforts while also working closely with Ashley’s other agencies.
 
We created a comprehensive plan for using social spaces to develop deeper connections with customers. Fans and followers can now get decorating ideas, customer support, company news and information about philanthropic efforts. To help drive “Likes” and support the company’s dedication to philanthropic work, we launched their Facebook page with a campaign for City of Hope, a cutting-edge research and treatment facility for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases. For every "Like" received, Client made a $0.25 donation to the organization.
